Dedicated to providing the highest quality of Driver Training to the motor carrier industry while creating partnerships and promoting commercial motor vehicle safety with our trainees, communities and regulatory agencies.

FMCSA Approved

Patten's Commercial Driver Training is both an approved Entry Level Driver Training provider and a registered training facility with the United States Department of Transportation, Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration.
 

At Patten's Commercial Driver Training, we provide the highest quality Theory Instruction, Behind-the-Wheel Range and Behind-the-Wheel-Public Road in accordance with 49 CFR Part 380.609 for those individuals applying for a Class-A, Class-A Hotshots, Class-B or a Class-C CDL for the first time, upgrading a Class-B to a Class-A CDL, or applying for a Hazardous Materials, School Bus or Passenger Endorsement.

Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance

We are excited to announce our membership with the Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance (CVSA)! This collaboration underscores our commitment to promoting safety and compliance within the commercial vehicle industry. Together, we aim to enhance road safety standards.

​The Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance (CVSA) is a nonprofit organization comprised of local, state, provincial, territorial and federal commercial motor vehicle safety officials and industry representatives. The Alliance aims to prevent commercial motor vehicle crashes, injuries and fatalities and believes that collaboration between government and industry improves road safety and saves lives.

Financial Assistance

We are proud to announce that we have partnered with Bar Harbor Bank & Trust, NH Employment Security, NH Works and NH Charitable Foundation to offer financial assistance to qualifying applicants.

Financial Obligation and Refund Policy

I understand by registering for courses at Patten’s Commercial Driver Training LLC., I am financially obligated for all costs related to the registered course(s) by the established training start date, or I may be subject to dismissal from course(s). Upon a drop or dismissal, I understand I will be responsible for all charges as noted in the student training contract. I further understand that if I do not make payment in full, my account may be reported to the credit bureau and/or turned over to an outside collection agency. I also understand that I will be responsible for the cost of the outside collection agency, any legal fees, and any check returned for insufficient funds under RSA 6:11, which will add significant costs to my account balance. Registrations will not be processed if you have an outstanding obligation to Patten’s Commercial Driver Training LLC. Upon registration, you are enrolled unless otherwise notified. Classes are subject to cancelation and or change/rescheduling without forewarning.

Students registered with Patten’s Commercial Driver Training LLC., must notify Patten’s Commercial Driver Training LLC. in writing at least 5 business days prior to the first session to receive a full refund minus any fees, if applicable.  Students who cancel a class within the 5 business days prior to the first session of class will not receive a refund. If students registered online or with a credit/debit card, there is a 7.0% transaction fee and $2.99 administration fee that will be deducted from your refund.  If Patten’s Commercial Driver Training LLC cancels a class for under-enrollment or other unforeseen issues, a full refund will be issued.

The Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) is designed to help job seekers access employment, education, training, and support services to succeed in the labor market and to match employers with the skilled workers they need to compete in the global economy. It requires that we obtain information from students. The use of your social security number is requested in order to access wage and employment information through the state Unemployment Insurance wage information database to conform to WIOA regulations. You cannot be denied enrollment for failure to provide your social security number although we strongly encourage you to do so to enable the program to determine employment related outcomes. Your personal information will be kept confidential and secure and will not be shared with any outside agencies other than New Hampshire Employment Security.
